Our Firm

PROVANZANO & MARCHESIANI P.C. was established in 1986 by the two founding partners, Anthony D. Provanzano and Paul Marchesiani. The firm has gained extensive experience in providing tax and accounting services to closely-held businesses. 

ANTHONY D. PROVANZANO, CPA is a graduate of Suffolk University. Prior to starting Provanzano & Marchesiani, P.C. in 1986, he gained a wealth of knowledge from working in international, national and regional firms and continuously applies it in assisting businesses and individuals with their accounting, tax and financing needs. He is a member of the AICPA and Florida Society of Certified Public Accountants. In December 2019, he relocated to Singer Island, Florida where he now resides. He manages the Palm Beach Gardens office and assists many of his clients who are based in Florida.

PAUL MARCHESIANI, CPA, MST graduated from Bentley College with an undergraduate degree in accounting and subsequently earned a Master of Science in Taxation. His experience has been primarily in taxation. He is integrally involved in the tax section of the practice and is primarily responsible for the tax planning and compliance for our clients. He also has extensive experience with computers and automated accounting systems and is able to assist in these needs as they arise. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

JOHN MITCHELL, CPA has been helping businesses and their owners achieve their financial goals for over 30 years.  His clients include closely-held firms in the distribution, manufacturing, finance, construction and medical industries.  John is well versed in generally accepted accounting principles and generally accepted auditing standards as well as federal and state income taxes.  John holds a B.S. in accounting from Boston College and a Master’s in Business Administration.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

KEVIN RUFFING, CPA, MST joined the firm in 2006 after spending several years with a regional accounting firm in Boston. Throughout his career, Kevin has been serving clients with high-quality accounting, auditing, tax, and business advisory services. His experience encompasses a wide range of industries including construction, manufacturing, distribution, professional services and real estate.  Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bryant University and a Master's of Science in Taxation from Bentley University.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
